Tesco has launched an updated mobile payments app, which makes it easier to pay for your big shop or fuel from your smartphone.
Tesco Pay+ allows users to sign in with their Tesco account and spend up to £250 in one go, whether on a big shop, electrical goods or fuel.
Users can simply scan items with their phone, making it faster to pay at the checkout.
The app automatically collects Clubcard points for every transaction, with users earning an extra Clubcard point for every four pounds spent until 14th January 2018.
Tesco says the app is used every three seconds at one of its outlets, having initially rolled out under the PayQwiq name in 2015.
Tesco’s Digital Wallet and Group Payments Director Mark Loch said: “Our digital wallet has proved to be hugely popular with our customers and we are confident that Tesco Pay +, with its fantastic capability, will continue to transform the shopping journey offering little helps to customers every time they shop in Tesco.”
The app is available now for both iOS and Android. You can download from the Tesco site.
